Five Globe bed & breakfast Cottage. | |  | La Petite Maison is a stone cottage, set in the tranquil Dordogne countryside, at the edge of the hamlet of Lapouge offering two, large double bedroom each with bathroom and an extra twin room available for families.
A private, spacious lounge with a wood burning stove, dining area with French doors leading to furnished courtyard and garden area with swimming pool (7x4mts).
A traditional French-type breakfast is served and tea/coffee making facilities are available. An evening meal may be arranged.
Linen provided.
We have an extensive range of brochures for local activities and are happy to help and advise.
Many chateaux, historic sites and caves within easy reach, local markets and week-end fetes from Easter to November. Ideal for just relaxing or house hunting.

Guests may arrive at La Petite Maison from 4pm, unless by other arrangement. On the day of departure your room should be vacated by 10am.
Pets welcome by arrangement. | | | | | Activities (on site and in local area) | La Petite Maison has its own swimming pool, we also have a boule area, badminton court and volleyball. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with wildlife, wildflowers and a great variety of birds -incl. buzzards, green and spotted woodpeckers, hoopoes -it is ideal for bird watching, rambling and walking.
There is an excellent Auberge in the hamlet of Mérigaud ,1.5kms, also horse riding. Local Carp fishing can be arranged.
St Estephe, 1km, has a shop, bakery, post office, tennis court and a recreational lake with summer cafes.
Piégut, 4kms, has all facilities, restaurants and a large Wednesday market.
Nontron, 8kms, an interesting valley town famous for knife making, has all facilities, restaurants and Saturday market.
Bran tome - 35min drive, a beautiful chateau town on the river, has a Friday market and offers canoeing and climbing.
Angouleme and Perigueux, 50min drive, many ancient sites and near wine growing areas.
Limoges and airport within easy reach.
